Your cart gathers everything you'd like to order so you can review it all before checking out. Most of the time that means items from your scripts — this is first and foremost a prescription platform — and where canary also offers a shop, shop products can go in the very same cart.

Adding items

On your dashboard, each active script card has an Add to cart button when the script is ready to order — this is the main way items get into your cart. If canary has a shop, shop products have their own Add to cart button on their product pages, and you can happily mix the two: a script item and a shop product can be ordered together in one checkout. Once something's in your cart, the cart icon in the header updates to show how many items you're holding.

Reviewing your cart

Select the cart icon to open the cart panel. For each item you'll see the name, brand, price and quantity. From here you can:

• Change the quantity — available for shop items, and for script items where canary allows it. Sensible limits apply.
• Remove an item — if you've changed your mind.

Below your items you'll see the subtotal, an estimated shipping cost where applicable, and your total. If pharmacy prices are lower than the recommended retail price, the cart also shows how much you're saving.

Good to know

• Adding something to your cart doesn't reserve it or charge you anything — payment only happens through checkout, and even then you're not charged until your order is confirmed.
• If a shop item becomes unavailable while it's sitting in your cart, it's removed automatically and you'll see a notice explaining why. Your script items are never removed this way.
• Shipping shown in the cart is an estimate — the exact amount is confirmed at checkout, and pickup orders have no shipping cost at all.
