Step-by-step help for using canary.

Checkout
Checkout is where your cart becomes an order. Take it one step at a time — nothing is charged to you until later, so you can go at your own pace.
Placing your order
- Review your order. The My order section lists everything in your cart with prices, so you can check it over before continuing.
- Select a pharmacy (where offered). Some organisations let you choose which partner pharmacy fills your order. You'll see nearby pharmacies with their prices and delivery options — pick the one that suits you. You can also filter by pickup or delivery.
- Choose how you'd like to receive it. Pick Delivery, Same Day (in eligible areas) or Pickup. See the "Delivery options" article for details.
- Confirm your delivery address. For delivered orders, check the Delivery address shown and add any Delivery notes the courier should know.
- Repeat tokens. If your order uses scripts with repeats, you'll be asked whether you'd like your repeat tokens sent back to your Active scripts automatically. Saying yes means less typing next time.
- Enter payment details. Select Enter payment details and fill in your card details in the Pay with card section, or choose Afterpay if it's offered.
- Place your order. Select Place order and you're done — you'll receive a confirmation and can track progress from your dashboard.
When are you charged?
Here's the reassuring part: you will not be charged when you place the order. Payment is only taken once the pharmacy confirms your order — and if the pharmacy needs to make any changes, you'll be asked to accept them first.
If anything goes wrong during checkout, you'll see a clear message explaining what needs fixing. And if you get stuck, the canary team is just a message away.
